Ericka Reil, MA LPCC

Accepting new clients- daytime before 3pm.

I believe instilling hope and knowledge about mental health conditions and where they stem from, helps others gain courage and energy to make lasting change in their lives. I offer an unbiased, safe, and genuine voice to the therapeutic relationship.

Pronouns: She/Her

Degree: I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in child psychology. I received my master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University in psychology and counseling.

Who I work with: 14+ individuals, couples, and families

Specialties: anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, borderline personality

My approach: It is important for me, as a clinician, to be real with my clients— present in the room, and truly hear what my clients are concerned about. I challenge thoughts and explore alternative options and external forces that funnel clients into their decisions often leading them to therapy as they don’t know what else to “do”. We explore trauma, attachment, control, and self-esteem as it relates to mental health symptoms. I meet clients where they are at in their journey, without judgment, and find how our time together can instill hope and lasting change.

Modalities: I draw from a combination of treatment modalities including CBT, person-centered, family systems, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed therapy.

In-network Insurances: Blue Cross Blue Sheild, Optum (Medica, UHC, UMR), Health Partners, Ucare, South Country Health

About me: When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I love to go for hikes or walks. I like to read memoirs about mental health and trauma. I like to explore what Minnesota has to offer, but also really enjoy a lazy Saturday on the couch.
