I view therapy as a journey with clients and focus on the vulnerability that comes with it. One of the most important things in therapy is the relationship between client and counselor so I want to create a setting that is supportive, encouraging and helpful for the client.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In my master’s program, I chose to specialize in the treatment of children and adolescents, and trauma-focused therapy.

I am a pre-licensed therapist who works under the supervision of: Shannon Richmond, MA LPCC I expect to be licensed as an LPC in the summer of 2026.

Type of therapy: I use a range of therapeutic modalities from CBT, DBT, EMDR, Gestalt, and Adlerian. Within all of these theories are layers of treatment focused on building awareness and acceptance of the challenges that clients face.

Clients I treat: I work with individuals, ages 8-65

Concerns I treat: anxiety, depression, grief, trauma/PTSD, stress, attachment concerns, emotion/mood, peer relationships and life transitions.

Appointment hours: I work Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday mornings 8am-12pm

In-network Insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Health Partners, Medical Assistance, Tricare, and Ucare.

About Me: I enjoy spending time with family, pets, and friends. I enjoy listening to music, reading, photography, crafting and exploring new places. I like to find new things to do every day and share it with those close to me.
