Supervision: I provide supervision for LPC and LPCC track counselors working towards licensure in the state of Minnesota. I also provider play therapy supervision for therapists (both license and unlicensed) working towards their RPT credential. I offer both individual and group supervision, in person and via video.
Supervision approach: I utilize a person centered approach to supervision. Practitioners should come to supervision ready to relay cases in an informative narrative. We will focus on specific questions, theoretical case conceptualization and practical techniques. Supervision will also include professional development, competence and self care for the therapist, if needed.
Therapeutic techniques: I am a person centered therapist. I am a registered play therapist and EMDR certified. I use a variety of techniques in my clinical practice to help my clients grow and heal. I primarily work with individuals one-on-one, listening to their concerns and story. I guide my clients to make insights, problem solve, improve life skills and learn ways to cope. I am a therapist who believe clients will get better with treatment and can be cured with the appropriate techniques.
Population: I have experience working with all ages and a variety of concerns. My current clinical focus is ages 4-30 with anxiety, depression and trauma.
Cost: Individual supervision- by appointment is $125 per hour
Group supervision is $45 per hour per person (3-6 counselors per group)
